St Chad’s is an open and welcoming church in the centre of Bishop’s Tachbrook that aims to build connection between the people in our church and the wider community as we experience life, adventure and companionship. We believe in God as Trinity, and that Jesus Christ the Son came to save humanity by his death and resurrection. To teach us how to live in God’s love for one another by the power of the Holy Spirit.
People – believing there is something special about belonging to a diverse group inspired by God’s love for each other, we meet regularly for worship, grow a community that walks together through all times and seasons of life.
Place – differentiated by our use and appreciation of the beautiful space around church and growing village, we are inspired to enjoy God’s creation and to use it for His worship. The ancient historic building on the hill is a stunning sight and a natural beacon of light to the heart of this community and parish.
Faith – breaking bread together helps us to remember what God has done for us. While we wonder of God’s creation and humanity, central to our worship is faith in Jesus Christ. We seek to follow his life and teachings and depend on the Holy Spirit to help us live out our faith and share God’s love.
As part of the Church of England in the Coventry diocese we passionately support the vision of: Worshipping God Making New Disciples Sharing His Love
All ages welcome, come along and meet us every Sunday through the year, and celebrate the pivotal festival times of Christmas, Easter and Pentecost and join one of our many groups which meet through the week.
